Tour description

Your tour begins at the port, where your private guide and driver will welcome you. Aboard a luxury executive vehicle, you will reach the historic center of Ravenna, once the capital of the Western Roman Empire and the Byzantine Exarchate, home to eight UNESCO monuments concentrated within just a few streets.

Your first stop will be the Basilica of San Vitale, one of the absolute masterpieces of Late Antique architecture: its extraordinary octagonal structure and golden apse mosaics will leave you speechless. Just a short walk away, the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia welcomes visitors with its deep blue interiors and an intimate, almost mystical atmosphere that changes with every variation of light.

You will then continue to the Neonian Baptistery, the oldest building in the city, before stopping in front of the Tomb of Dante Alighieri for a reflective and evocative moment in the heart of the historic center, where the remains of the Supreme Poet rest.
