This tour begins in the UNESCO-listed historic center with Piazza del Duomo and the magnificent Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, one of the largest churches in the world. Marvel at Brunelleschi’s extraordinary Dome, Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the Baptistery of San Giovanni with its famous gilded bronze doors.

Your walk continues to Ponte Vecchio, the city’s oldest bridge, renowned for its traditional goldsmith shops overlooking the Arno River. From there, you will reach Piazza della Signoria, Florence’s political heart from the Middle Ages to the present day, dominated by the majestic Palazzo Vecchio.

At the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most celebrated art museums in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage treasure, you will admire masterpieces by Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli, Raphael, Giotto, and other great masters of the Italian Renaissance. Highlights include Botticelli’s Birth of Venus and Leonardo’s Annunciation.
